Beautiful GrĆ¼ner Veltliner, an Austrian variety that we have totally fallen in love with. If you haven't tried this variety before, think steely dry Riesling combined with the mouth-coating texture of a Pinot Gris.
The nose is complex of yellow nectarine, white pepper and citrus blossom & a touch smoky, while the palate shows yellow stone fruit and spiced apple with a savoury edge of lime rind and earthy parsnip to linger. Grown in the Wangolina vineyard in Mt Benson, we are fortunate to make the only GrĆ¼ner Veltliner in the Limestone Coast.
