Smallfry Eclectik Violet Grenache Cinsault 750ml

Smallfry Eclectik Violet Grenache Cinsault 750ml

Necessity may be the mother of invention but too much time on my hands may be the father…I do believe that there is still a lot of ground to be covered in the light bright young and fruitful red space. Grenache dominant with Cinsault playing a lesser role this is a sweeter fruit version with juicy dark cherries and blood plums driving the up front with hopefully the now familiar smooth transition to a more savoury finish.

Colour: Deep crimson.

Aroma: Dark cherries, blood plums.

Palate: Starts sweet and juicy then finishes with some dry herbs and tea.

Summary: Fills a niche with aplomb.

Region: 100% Barossa Valley, South Australia

Variety: 50% Grenache 50% Cinsault.

Alcohol / Vol: 11.8%

Total Sulphur : 58ppm
