It was a good year for Grenache on the Valley floor... if you got fruit off early and it suited your production style. Same site, old vine Vine Vale sandy soils, above the once used trellis. Handpicked, MOG removed and destemmed. Not a year for whole bunch given unripe stems we 100% berry fermented the grenache this year. 300 litres was rack to old and neutral French oak, the remainder racked to stainless to settle and for intended maturation of 11 ā 12 months.Ā
